Warranty, Service & Customer Care Policy
This policy forms an integral part of the Veda Spaces quotation, final invoice, approved drawings and scope of work. Product warranties are subject to the selected material, approved specification, manufacturer terms, proper use and full payment.
At a glance
- Plywood: up to 10 years, depending on the plywood selected for your project and the manufacturer’s warranty.

- Channels and hinges: 5 years against manufacturing defects.
- Electrical items: 1 year, or the period the manufacturer documents for the supplied item.
- Free service: one year from your project handover date, for fitment-related or workmanship issues within the completed Veda Spaces scope.

1. Warranty coverage
- 1.1
- Plywood: up to 10 years, depending on the plywood selected for the project and subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
- 1.2
- Kitchen tandems: 3 years against manufacturing defects, subject to manufacturer terms and normal use.
- 1.3
- Channels and hinges: 5 years against manufacturing defects, subject to manufacturer terms and normal use.
- 1.4
- Electrical items: 1 year, or the period stated by the manufacturer, whichever is specifically documented for the supplied item.
- 1.5
- Any longer manufacturer warranty mentioned in the material specification is a manufacturer warranty and does not extend Veda Spaces workmanship or free-service obligations.
2. Exclusions from warranty
- 2.1
- No Veda Spaces warranty is provided for wallpaper, painting, polishing or decorative finish work, except rectification of a proven execution defect identified at handover.
- 2.2
- No Veda Spaces warranty is provided for glass work after handover, except a proven installation defect reported at handover.
- 2.3
- No warranty is provided for vanity units installed in toilets or wet areas where damage results from moisture, seepage, direct water exposure, poor ventilation or plumbing leakage.
- 2.4
- Warranty does not cover misuse, accidental or impact damage, abnormal loads, pests after completion, water seepage, structural movement, third-party work, unauthorised alteration, inadequate maintenance, normal wear and tear, or force majeure events.
Free service has its own exclusions; see 6.2.
3. Design, colour and material variations
- 3.1
- The completed work will follow the approved design intent. 3D renders are visual representations; actual colour, grain, texture, sheen, lighting response, dimensions and proportions may vary due to material batches, screen settings, lighting and site conditions.
- 3.2
- Any approximate colour-palette match stated during design (for example, an approximate 75% match) is a visual guideline, not a measurable performance guarantee. Final selections must be confirmed using physical samples or approved catalogues wherever available.
- 3.3
- Edge banding may not exactly match the laminate colour, texture or grain because the materials are produced separately.
- 3.4
- Minor plywood core gaps and natural board variations may occur within the manufacturer’s tolerances and are not automatically treated as defects.
- 3.5
- HDHMR and other engineered-board shutters may show minor movement or warpage because of heat, humidity, moisture or span. Each case will be assessed against the manufacturer’s tolerance and installation conditions.
4. Measurement and execution tolerances
- 4.1
- Final billing and reconciliation will use actual site measurements and executed quantities.
- 4.2
- Site dimensions may vary by up to approximately ½ inch where required by wall alignment, flooring level, service lines, structure, hardware clearance or other site conditions. Such variation will be considered acceptable when it does not materially affect function or the approved design intent.
- 4.3
- Minor laminate chips may be repaired where a technically acceptable repair is possible. Replacement will be considered only when repair is not feasible, or the defect materially affects function or appearance.
5. Documentation, payment and handover
- 5.1
- The warranty certificate and final estimate/invoice on Veda Spaces letterhead will be issued after receipt and realisation of the total project payment.
- 5.2
- Keys and formal handover will be completed after all outstanding amounts, including the permitted retention amount, are paid and realised. Until then, keys may remain in Veda Spaces safe custody.
- 5.3
- The customer should retain the final invoice, payment proof, warranty certificate, approved scope/drawings, and handover record for service and warranty requests.
- 5.4
- Failure to retain a document will not by itself cancel a valid statutory or manufacturer right, but Veda Spaces may request reasonable proof of purchase, scope and handover to verify eligibility.
6. Free service and chargeable visits
- 6.1
- Veda Spaces will provide one year of free service from the project handover date for fitment-related or workmanship issues within the completed Veda Spaces scope.
- 6.2
- Free service excludes consumables, accidental damage, client-supplied items, third-party work, misuse, normal wear and tear, water or seepage damage, and manufacturer product failures that must be handled under the manufacturer’s process.
- 6.3
- After the one-year free-service period, site-visit, labour, material and transportation charges may apply. Applicable charges will be communicated before the visit or work is scheduled.
- 6.4
- Service timing depends on access, issue severity, material availability, manufacturer support and site conditions.
7. Existing tiles and client-supplied items
- 7.1
- If an existing tile is accidentally damaged during Veda Spaces execution, the customer will provide a matching replacement tile when available, and Veda Spaces will bear the reasonable replacement labour cost where responsibility is attributable to Veda Spaces.
- 7.2
- Where the matching tile is unavailable, the customer and Veda Spaces will agree on a practical alternative before replacement.
- 7.3
- Sink, tiles, granite and taps are in the client scope unless the quotation explicitly includes a specific item, quantity and price.
8. How to request service or make a warranty claim
- Tell us about the issue (8.1). The customer should report the issue with the project reference, photographs or video, location of the issue, and a short description.
- We review it (8.2). Veda Spaces may inspect the site or request additional information before deciding whether the issue qualifies for repair, replacement, manufacturer support or chargeable service.
- We put it right (8.3). The remedy will be proportionate to the verified defect and may include adjustment, repair, replacement of the affected component, or coordination with the manufacturer.
- 8.4
- Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
